I am grateful

I love sundays. They were my favorite day at home and are my favorite here too. ESPECIALLY YESTERDAY.

I don't know many people who can say they have had dinner with the president. But now I totally am one of them! We went to Gazcue yesterday to president and hermana Corbitt's apartment. We had dinner and dessert and got to enjoy their company and Christmas decorations and super homey feeling. Really nice so close to the holidays. I also got to catch a glimpse or two at the temple out the window and can I tell you? Ugh. I die. 

I. LOVE. THE. TEMPLE.

The Presidency of the Carribbean says 2 times a year the missions can do temple trips. President Corbitt did something wild and awesome and miraculous and I love it: He got permission for us to got FOUR times a year. I am crying. 

You guys, the temple is the crowning jewel of the gospel. It is... everything. It is the goal. Goodness. If you can go, go. If you can't, get to where you can. The power and the blessings are incredible. 

I love this work. It brings so much happiness.

 

I wish you all peace and joy this time of year and want you to know that I am thankful for you. I am thankful for my family and the gospel that gives us hope.
