I don't know about you guys, but this transfer flew for me. *I AM DONE WITH TRAINING!
Hermana Hansen and I had were both as springs for this coming transfer- full of energy and potential. We were going to rock it. Hard. There was something in the air and we could both feel it. Something was coming.
But what came... was not what we expected.
TRANSFERS.
You know what they say, "Awe. And right when it was getting good..." Okay, maybe they don't say that. But I am thinking it. We got a call around 6 yesterday. Hermana Hansen is to train a NEWBY! Here in Kennedy A. I am so happy for her companion, she is going to have a great first impression of the mission and is going to learn to love every minute. But we received this news, and then the call ended. So what we knew was that I was leaving. Didn't know where or with whom. But I was a gonner.
The call of fate didn't come until after 11. RUDE.
But here it is- *I AM TRAINING. Ha. Yeah. Right when I thought I was in the clear.
Her name is Hermana Ortiz from Peru. AAAAAAAAAAHHHH:) Latina :)
She has already had a transfer of training, I will be doing the other half. Together we will be in Heinamosa B. I don't even know if I spelled that right... we will see. I love all of those rhymes.
YOU GUYS. MISSIONARY WORK. REALLY.
Our two minute celebration for Halloween was a blast. We bought vampire teeth gummy candy for only 1 peso. (like 2 cents USD) and carved apples. Picture attached. I LOVE THIS SISTER! Hermana Hansen. Gonna miss 'er. :(
Service project, we cleaned schools and I felt back in Mexico. The walls were even painted the same as Galileo Galilei! Pictures also attached.
We said goodbye to Hermana Valle this morning, she goes home to Colombia this week. I LOVE THIS SISTER! Hermana Valle. Already miss 'er. :(
All ma love,
Hermana Meldrum
