Allow me to take the short time I have to wallow in my gratitude. My Heavenly Father knows and loves me and shows me everyday. One of the ways He does this is through my perfectly imperfect family. I was very blessed to be able to speak to them for an hour face to face and lemme tell you, I am charged! Didn't think I was lacking in the energy department, my companion keeps me going strong, but somehow I am fuller after sharing with those that I love so dearly, but don't miss.
You read that right, and Maybe you even understand. I do not miss my family, because they are so much a part of me it is like they are here. I think of them and am happy, not sad. Full, not empty. It is a miraculous thing. If you can say something similar about your family, be thankful, not all can.
In this new year, i hope we can all strangthen our relationships with our families. This most likely will require a stronger relationship with our Heavenly Father. It will amaze you what a difference doing just a little more will make.
